2018 Rosé of Pinot Noir, Los Carneros
Vintage Report:
The 2018 Teachworth Carneros Rosé of Pinot Noir, our newest wine from our extended collection, is a fantastic expression of the style. The 2018 vintage was a boon year all around Northern California with outstanding quality and large yields. Our harvest began slightly earlier than usual and the avalanche of beautiful grapes never ceased. This Rosé is a mix of traditional and novel methods, spent 6 months in neutral French Oak barrels, and we are excited to introduce it to you! Only 25 cases made.
Winemaker’s Tasting Notes:
This Rosé marks the first new addition to the Teachworth wines lineup in almost 20 years. Following in our tradition of crafting outstanding Cabernet, we welcome an exciting foray into Pinot Noir!
With a beautiful salmon pink hue, distinctive floral aromas and strawberry undertones, this wine makes for a wonderful summer sipper. Six months of barrel aging impart a weight that balances the natural acidity.
