2014 Teachworth Cabernet Sauvignon Release

We are very pleased to announce the release of the 2014 vintage of Teachworth Estate Cabernet Sauvignon.

Our 2014 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon delivers mouth filling, deeply intense blackberry fruit across the palate with clove and cardamom spice complexity and dusty tannins  that add structure to the juicy fullness of the fruit.

2014 proved to be one of the greatest growing years that Napa Valley has seen and our offing from our Diamond Mountain District, was no exception.  The relatively small berries yielded intense flavors.

This vintage is especially significant as it commemorates the passing of Joan  Teachworth whose vision led to the creation of this now classic estate in a unique corner of Napa Valley.

2014 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon
Sharing the best qualities of both vineyards this wine has great ripe fruit and great elegance in the same package.  Our smallest and most limited bottling for this vintage.  This stunning wine will sell out fast.

2013 Manzanita Hill Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon
This wine exhibits the rich flavor, depth of character, and length that Napa Valley is known for.  Ripe black cherry, chocolate, and a hint of cayenne spice leaves a long finish that begs you to take another sip.  A wine that is drinking exceptionally well now and will age gracefully for a decade to come.

2013 Rattlesnake Ridge Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon
More restrained and complex, this wine is more reminiscent of a first growth Bordeaux than a wine from California.  Liquorish, clove, and red fruit balance with elegance.  Although this wine is drinking great now, it will only improve and I would recommend cellaring for an additional 2-10 years.
